DAL 21 AL 29 NOVEMBRE SETTIMANA EUROPEA PER LA RIDUZIONE DEI RIFIUTI

Legnano, 20 novembre 2020 - Prenderà il via domani e si protrarrà sino a domenica 29 la XII edizione della Settimana Europea per la Riduzione dei Rifiuti (SERR). L’appuntamento di quest’anno avrà come tema centrale “I Rifiuti Invisibili”, ossia tutti quei rifiuti (e sono tanti), che il consumatore finale non vede perché vengono generati durante il processo di fabbricazione e distribuzione dei prodotti. Un esempio per tutti: per fabbricare e consegnare poi in negozio uno smartphone che pesa meno di 200 grammi vengono prodotti oltre 86 chilogrammi di rifiuti. Dalla produzione alla fine del ciclo di vita, ogni prodotto ha un impatto sull'ambiente. Ecco perché, se possediamo una coscienza ambientale, ogni volta che acquistiamo qualcosa di nuovo, dovremmo domandarci: “Ne ho davvero bisogno o posso farne a meno?” Questo è il grande interrogativo che la Settimana Europea per la Riduzione dei rifiuti pone alle nostre coscienze.
